But we did choose some unconventional area's because we think it will be more unique and stand out in the audience mind, also the important part of the films and happen at his unique places which makes it stand out in the audience minds.
This image is the tunnel which our main character stands on and looks down, and also underneath he smashes glass bottles, this area is very significant as this is where our character releases most of his anger and grief and when standing on top of this bridge he has another second thought of committing suicide. This is a perfect place as it suits the dark and gloomy re-accruing theme that we have throughout all of this media project.
This wall is inside the tunnel, the use of graffiti makes the area look rough and horrible which this fits in with the rough and hardness that is normally associated with drum&bass. This wall is where we see our character smash all the bottles and releases his stress and anger. We also zoom in and one part of a bottle smashing against a part on a wall in the video and on this part of the wall it says ''Jay is gay'', this graffiti fits nicely in with our video's twist at the end.
This hill is how our character got up to the top of the train railway on top of the tunnel, this image is important because after filming we had to edit a lot of shots like these into our video for it too make sense to the reader. Also the image shows a very dark and gloomy setting which fits in with our video well.
This two images are very important as they show the key point of how the video takes place over a whole day. The picture of the road is shown in the video when he is running away after just seeing his ex with a friend, this is done during the day time. Because the shot is during the day with all the traffic going past it adds to the fast paced music upbeat pace.
The photo of the woods is taken during the day here, but in the video it is used at night and we changed the brightness and contrast on the actual film clip, to show him running home in the dark. This then shows the day passing away and slowly moving into night. Also this photo fits in with the music video because of the gloomy and dull colours and in the film the actual footage is off balance which fits in with the face paced music.
