A small issue was raised when filming that the drug dealing scene may not be clear enough that their is a disagreement and that the dealer is not happy with our main character.
We think as a group that the facial expressions shown by the two characters that their is a disagreement of some sort, also their is some dialogue between the two characters but we have decided to play the music over the top. If we was to play the dialogue over the top of the music it would interrupt, especially as this bit of filming falls on a fast paced and up beat part of the song, but cutting that out it would ruin the song a distract the audience from the actual song itself. We think by just playing the song over the top it will be enough to show the audience that their is a clear disagreement between the two, because of the acting from the two characters. To prove that this will work I have looked up other music video to further my point.
Referring back to this video I used earlier to analyse, at 2:09 we see the young woman holding her kids shouting at the main character who is leaving, the song is not interrupted but their is dialogue used, we can tell from her acting and actions she uses towards him we see that their is a disagreement between the two for example the hand throwing she does, her facial expressions of disgust and also the slamming of the door.
This proves my point that to show the disagreement between our main character and the drug dealer, we will just need to use certain actions and movements to show the anger and tension between the two.
