Film Trailers - The Ring

Introduction.

For my A2 Level Media i will be creating either have to plan and design a film trailer or a music video. I have chosen to do a music video as i think it will be more suited to my personality type and i feel more confident in making a music video as i have more knowledge on music videos than film trailers. I also i think i will enjoy making a music video more than a film trailer as you can create more of a story for a music video. The only thing i would find appealing to making a film trailer would be the element of surprise as the audience would not know what would be coming their way, but i do not think this is enough to convince me to change.

I have a few ideas that i would like to do for my music video;
For my music video i would like it too be an upbeat song, so that the audience feel happier and will enjoy watching it. I would also like the video to be an older generation song, maybe set in the 70's/80's this would make the video more interesting and i like the fashion and style of the 70's/80's. By creating a video from music set in this time period i think that it will make it more unique and different which will stand out to the audience more.
